Pete began his creative career as a novelist, writing five fiction books before shifting his focus to theatre. He quickly became one of the world's most produced writers of short plays, with more than 1,000 productions of his work in 30+ countries, and is known internationally as a leading monologue specialist.
At the same time, he began directing and producing, taking on major stage plays as well as film and animation projects.
Pete has won 33 major awards for his plays, short films and animations. He is currently working on Bad Powers, a cartoon series, collaborating with ex-Disney animators and one of the world's most popular YouTubers.
Notable achievements (creative)
After almost a decade as a fiction author and playwright, Pete began his transition into a new role as an industry leader. This began when he took over the running of a community event, then shortly thereafter became the Festival Director of the world's largest 10-minute play festival, Short+Sweet Sydney.
Pete went on to produce not only theatre but dance, cabaret, magic, film, choir and comedy. He was running regular workshops in creative writing, theatre and acting. With a parallel career in corporate project management, Pete began to use his professional skills to set up arts organisations.
He is the Founder and Lead Facilitator of the Creative Industries Future Leaders Incubator (CIFLI), a leadership training program for those seeking financial sustainability in the arts through setting up innovative businesses. He also offers coaching and consultancy services for creative artists and organisations.

And a little bit of megalomania
If it's not obvious from the above, Pete isn't one to rest. He is targeting some pretty ambitious career goals.
