Notable achievements (creative)
After almost a decade as a fiction author and playwright, Pete began his transition into a new role as an industry leader. This began when he took over the running of a community event, then shortly thereafter became the Festival Director of the world's largest 10-minute play festival, Short+Sweet Sydney.
Pete went on to produce not only theatre but dance, cabaret, magic, film, choir and comedy. He was running regular workshops in creative writing, theatre and acting. With a parallel career in corporate project management, Pete began to use his professional skills to set up arts organisations.
He is the Founder and Lead Facilitator of the Creative Industries Future Leaders Incubator (CIFLI), a leadership training program for those seeking financial sustainability in the arts through setting up innovative businesses. He also offers coaching and consultancy services for creative artists and organisations.
